It's Going to be a tough drama

Hillary's POV

I left Bridget's house in the morning after having breakfast with her family. Speaking of family, I could never relate. I guess I'm just on my own for now. My hair bounced as I walked. I was going to Victoria's.

My memories flooded within my head. It still felt like yesterday. I applied to work for Victoria as a cook and maid even cleaner. But ever since she met me at the hospital, claiming she saw her sweet boyfriend with me, I haven't found my way back to her.

My chest rose and fell, steady breaths, pulling my fingers together. Gosh__i was scared as hell.

I would be so much fucked up if she finds out about what happened. I bent through the street because I was finally at her villa.

I beat my knuckles against the gate.

Oops, I'm too much of a local girl. Realizing I should have pressed the intercom which I did.

“ Yes, who?”

A familiar voice boomed through the intercom. A male's actually.

“It's Hillary, I'm here to um…work?” I chuckled nervously, poking my scalp.

The gates opened and I found my way through. Heading straight to the foyer and I scurried into the kitchen.

“Hillary?!”

I heard my voice and turned In fear. Victoria.

“Hello ma'am.” I greeted. My lips quivered for a while and she catwalks towards me. Her body gesture and face showed irritation__towards me, I guess.

“You came back.”

Her voice was dry.

“Yes, I….”

“Whatever, get to work anyways. I need you to work on my room and the pool too. Do you understand?”

“Yes.” I replied almost immediately and she turned her back. A sigh escaped my lips. However I thought she would remind me of what happened last time.

I didn't hesitate to start my work. Some maids were out there assigned to their jobs while I handled the plates and her room. I could perceive a familiar scent while I was in her room.

Men's perfume. My nose might be reminiscing now. I carefully cleaned her night stand, raising the items.

Condoms, seriously? I scoffed trying to arrange everything in place. Like it was my business.

I moved towards the pool Dusting the furniture when I heard the gurgling of water. I turned and I knew what I was seeing. A fallen angel rising out. Damn, who is this guy with the sexy build?

“ Hey babe.”

My jaw dropped. Not because I felt a sting of jealousy but because it was Victoria that walked to kiss him.

Babe? Victoria was dating Travis. And if she referred to the sexy water dripping guy, she could be referring to…….fuck!

Travis.

“ You should have told me to join you in the pool.”

Victoria pouts and the proximity of their bodies had me fuming. I clenched the feather duster in my hands.

“ C’mon, it's cool. I'm done with swimming. Let's go Inside?” he replied.

I was still watching when I felt his eyes on me.

“ Your maid?” Travis points.

Shit. I had the opportunity to avert my eyes and hide from their direction but all I did was make myself noticeable. I should have never come back here if not that I was desperate for money.

Who knows what could be on Travis's mind. He could be regretting why he met me and worst of all, I'm a maid to his girlfriend.

“And what about her?” Victoria jumps in. I knew that look_ skepticism, she possessed.

“Uhh, Nothing, haven't seen this one here before.”

He didn't even have to try to speak in a sexy nonchalant manner.

“But she was at the hospital talking to you.”

“Yes.” He rolled his eyes, grabbing her ass and being clingy, “ she's one of the people staying in the charity home. Her Dad got involved in an accident, initially, the process of demolishing the house.

“Oh.”

“Yes baby.” He gave me a stare before they both walked in. I was guessing it was a ‘i'm so disappointed in you’ kind of stare. And honestly, I was embarrassed.

“Breathe Hillary, you got this.” I repeated to myself. This was actually weird. I would have to distance myself from Travis. Infant walked through another route Incase he was doing the same.

If Victoria finds out about the date, I won't just be sacked, she could bury me alive.

I was done working at the pool, after reviewing my spotless cleaning. I was exhausted and went to the main living room.

“It's Crazy what people do for money.”

I jerked immediately, turning back to see the one and only Travis standing next to me with hands on his hips.

Who asked for your dirty opinion.?

It's crazy how rude I was. My thoughts actually. I was very reserved on the outside but wouldn't dare to say such to his face.

“Um..” I tried to find words to say but I was crowned with shame.

“Are you talking to…..me?” My voice trembled. Honestly, I was scared.

“ I'm staring at you so what makes you feel like I'm not.”

He raised a lemonade drink to his lips and sips. Damn. Damn. Amazing. His lips.

“First of all, you pretend to be Tessa Fowler, secondly, you came to my office for an interview as Hillary Highman. Now, you're here?”

He chuckles, “ An imposter? What do you want?”

“Nothing.” I finally calmed myself down, my voice came out soft. “ Like I said, it was all pretense. I'm sorry about what happened.”

“Sorry for your fucking self.”

“I really am.”

“That was stupid.”

“Yes, I know.”

“And bullshit too.”

“Well, I ……” I tried to say something when he interrupts,

“Hillary, how dare you? How dare you.”

His steps were coming close and I gulped. I mean, the way he walked towards me, my mind was racing. The worst thing that could happen was if Victoria reveals herself.

“ How dare you pull up as a rich person.” His voice came as whispers this time and I froze as if under a spell.

I was scared. Hate to admit it and we were close.

Within a flash, my arm was pulled and gripped by him.

“ That hurts please.” I begged and groaned under his grip.

“ How did you do it and why?”

“I'm sorry, okay?”

“Sorry isn't enough.” He licked his bottom lips and raked his hair with his fingers. Victoria didn't deserve this guy. No way. Hell no.

“Babe? Where are you?”

Travis and I both startled. We knew we had to pretend in front of her that we are strangers. If she caught us this way, it would complicate things.

“Go.” He whispered.

I carried the vacuum and passed through another entrance to leave.

“There you are.”

I heard Victoria giggled.

Gosh. This was just the beginning. How on earth do I play this game?
