Bonus chapter

Daphne wakes up panting.

She is lying on dense under growth and is sweat soaked.

She tries to get up, but a hand pushes her back down onto the grass.

" You have to lie still."

A calm voice tells her

" You are not strong enough to get up yet.

You took quite a beating."

" Cadi…?"

She asked.

" She's in safe hands." The voice answered.

" Who are you? Where am I?"

" You can call me your special guardian. Now lie back and let me tend to your wounds."

She feels a balm soothingly being rubbed on her bare chest.

Where could she be, she wonders as she drifts off to sleep.
