Chapter 1

I am Chastity Reid. Chassy, for short, and an omega, just like my mother, Merlisa, who is also from the Red Moon Pack and found her mate in human territory, who happens to be my father, whom I don't remember or see since I was a child. I don't remember my mother treating me well either. She was always yelling and screaming at me, which made me realize from a very young age that she didn't care or love me.

Chapter 2

The sun hadn't risen yet, but my eyes opened on their own. I looked around my room, which I didn't think anyone but me could sleep in. Besides a cot I got from the used stuff in the pack's trash area and my tattered bag with some worn-out clothes I also got from where I got the cot, a space where I could sleep was the only thing my mother could provide for me. I ran my eyes around, and there was nothing unusual except for the fact that it seemed like my vision had become clearer.

Chapter 3

"Come in," I heard Alpha Xander say, so I turned the doorknob and opened the door. I tried to look relaxed because I didn't want him to notice how I felt about our bond. After closing the door and preparing to pick up his dirty clothes, I was surprised to see him at the bathroom door, with only a towel wrapped around his waist. It was breathtaking. Not because it was the first time I saw a man in just a towel, but because I knew he was mine and I wanted him.

I didn't know how I managed to get through the day. I felt like I was already dead because I didn't think my heart was still beating. I didn't want to get up and work in the pack house when I felt my heart aching the next day. What am I going to do? The tears I thought had dried up started falling down my face.
